Dangerous road conditions

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on a road - More than 150mm wide and more than 40mm deep category anonymously at 14:07, Friday 16 May 2025

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

I have raised a complaint a few weeks ago under reference 3185622. From speaking to your assessor he agreed the road is beyond pothole repair. Unfortunately you decided to fill three small holes leaving much bigger holes next to the ones repaired! More pictures available. I made it clear on my feedback link that it’s unacceptable and dangerous. You can see in one of the picture the size of the rocks which are crumbling daily and we have to drive at 2-5mph to avoid damage to cars. I’m sending this again for the main reason our neighbours and I want the road relaid which is safety. My 3 year old son has now fallen off his bike after hitting one of the rocks and holes. He cut his knee and face. Thankfully he had a helmet on but the neck strap from the impact has dug into his neck. Outside of now insisting you urgently review the condition of the road I would like to know how I raise a formal complaint for the injuries and damage to his bike.
