Verge over hanging footpath as it is being pushed out by the remnants of a tree cut down by the council and left there

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown hedge blocking views into traffic category anonymously at 19:32, Tuesday 27 May 2025

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

In November 2024 I reported a council owned tree had collapsed onto my garden fence. Issue no 3114132. Incidentally, I have just reported another smaller tree in proximity that will shortly collapse on to my garden fence. Issue number 3250248. I am reporting this as the verge hanging out onto the footpath has occurred as the council did not remove the tree reported in November when the council cut it down. They just cut it down and left it there. So now the verge bulges onto the road and is causing a pedestrian obstruction. In addition, I cannot repair my fence as workers cannot get close enough on the outside of my fence to do the work sue to the tree cutting left behind.
