Frequent crashes at a spot where hundreds of children cross

There have been crashes at this site consistently every few months for some time but no signs of any road safety improvements. Every day hundreds of children cross the road at this spot. Please review for whether there should be traffic calming coming off the a3 or traffic lights or traffic crossing installed.
