OPM Diseased tree on Green Ln, KT15 2TU
Reported via mobile in the Diseased or dead tree category anonymously at 19:01, Saturday 31 May 2025
Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.
There's two trees outside number 60 Green Lane, Addlestone KT15 2TU that is infested with OPM, there is also fungi at the base of the tree trunk. The trees are located by a pedestrian crossing controlled by traffic lights, which leads to a local Co op shop right by these traffic lights. It's a highly populated area for young and old people. I live right by the trees mentioned and it's causing me breathing problems and effecting my Asthma, also all the people in the household are itching very badly, day and night. In this nice weather, we can't open any windows for fear of the tiny hairs from the OPMs coming more into the house. I no longer can do the front gardening as I suffer very badly with the poor breathing and itching. Please can immediate action be taking so we don't suffer anymore. We are at the end of our tether with this happening every year, for the past 4 years or so. As it's a danger to health, I believe the tree outside my property should be cut down.
