Dead branch falling onto road

Reported via mobile in the Risk of falling branch category anonymously at 16:36, Friday 6 June 2025

Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.

This tree has never been maintained by Surrey County Council. I’ve lived in my home since 2019 and they’ve never cut it back or looked after it.

Today I heard a loud bang and a dead branch has fallen off and landed in the road close to a pavement that people use regularly (dog walkers, people with children etc).

Someone could’ve been seriously hurt if that had fallen on them or damaged a car.

It’s about time the council came and really chopped this tree back as it also blocks light out in my property as it’s so big.
