Contradictory temporary signage
Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later.
Approaching Green Lane from High street there are 2 yellow diversion signs pointing left into Green Lane but at the roundabout there is a red, road closed, sign and a yellow, access only, sign obstructing the left turn frrom the roundabout. I have a statement from yourselves advising that SCC does not supervise contractors relying on the contractors to supervise themselves. OWN GOAL OR WHAT! As far as I'm aware this has been the case at least since Friday but probably longer. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REPORT THIS ON YOUR EMERGENCY NUMBER ALL AFTERNOON BUT YOUR PHONE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE WORKING. NOT PAID THE BILL OR CABLE CUT BY AN OVER-ENTHUSIASTIC CONTRACTOR
